 Thanks for making Local First KISS FM Vernon and the North Okanagan's most listened to station. Your support keeps local radio vibrant  as do our loyal advertisers and excellent staff team.  KISS is a proud member of the Jim Pattison Radio Group. Established in 1947 KISS remains true to our original community roots.

Our music focus is Vernon's Best Music. That doesn't tell the whole story because KISS believes in supporting local musicians and performers. Our sponsorship of Our Kids Have Talent is unique in all of  British Columbia.

KISS raises virtually all monies that support the City of Vernon Canada Day and have done so for 25 years.
The KISS Events Crew is our original vehicle to introduce talented local high school students to broadcasting. The pride we have in their community work is off the charts. They attend community events 52 weeks a year so Local First is real not a marketers slogan.  Very few FM stations commit to play by play hockey when you have the most legendary hockey franchise in Canada in our home town , we had to step forward and carry 50-60 games a year.

Local news /sports/traffic and weather are hallmarks of our success. Lori and Rob in the morning  wake the North Okanagan with enthusiasm as only they can.
