August 15th-17th
- It's the 16th Annual Roots and Blues Festival from August 15th-17th in Salmon Arm. There are 50 acts, 7 stages and 3 days of hot fun in the sun. There's a complete line-up and information at www.rootsandblues.ca or call (250) 833-4096.
August 17th
- On August 17th, there will be a Camp Hurburt Reunion from 1:00pm-6:00pm at Camp Hurburt. Enjoy swimming, a BBQ and other fun activities. Please park at Trinity United Church- A shuttle bus service is provided throughout the afternoon and evening. Call Debbie at 549-1445.
- Pre-Register now to bring your children down to the Kingfisher Interpretive Center for a day of fun, free, hands on environment learning on August 17th from 10:00am-2:00pm. The program includes a habitat walk, a look at aquatic bugs, the salmon life cycle and a fish dissection.
September 14th
- On September 14th, the SPCA is having their Annual "Paws for a Cause" walk at MacDonald Park. Registration is at 11:00am and the walk and games start at 12:00pm.
