Lucky Mayor to Olympics

Vernon's mayor will be off to the oOlympics next week.

Wayne Lippert has accepted complementary tickets from the BC Lottery branch, giving him seats at the February 17th German-Sweden hockey game.

The total worth's 280 dollars.

Lippert says it'll be an excellent opportunity to network and promote the area.

Chilliwack's mayor's already refused tickets believing it's an illegal gift under provincial  legislation.
