Robbery Suspect Charged; Held in Custody

Angelea Sabo appeared in Vernon provincial court Monday.

She was remanded in custody until her next court appearance February 24 for a bail hearing.

 A Vernon woman is expected to be formally charged with several counts of robbery today.

32 year old  Angela Sabo was arrested last Thursday, the same day there were three robberies, or attempted ones, at the city's two Super Save Gas outlets,  and the Heavenly Grounds coffee shop, over a 12 hour period.

Police say a weapon was produced in each case, but in one of the cases, the store owner told the woman to get out, and in another, she left the store when the staff member didn't give her the cash fast enough.

Police say Sabo was known to them.
